Textile economic research and industry integration to follow up

"In the context of the new normal, the economic research of the textile industry should be integrated and followed up with the industry, and more importantly, targeted research should be carried out in combination with the needs of the development of the textile industry and outstanding problems, especially in the aspects of brand, market, domestic sales, and innovation system." On December 19, at the eighth China Textile Economic Forum held by Tianjin University of Technology, Wang Tiankai, president of China Textile Industry Federation, put forward new requirements for the forum and industrial economic research in universities.
Wang Tiankai stressed at the meeting that the economic research of the textile industry should not be carried out in the room, but should further open the mind and combine the characteristics of the industry with the current economic situation in China for research and analysis. At the same time, the results of textile economic research projects should make full use of relevant platforms, conduct extensive publicity and promotion inside and outside the industry, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the textile industry.
Xu Wenying analyzed the current situation and trend of the development of the textile industry at the meeting, he pointed out that the textile industry is currently facing a grim situation, one is the complex situation of the textile raw material market, the domestic cotton price is still about 3,000 yuan higher than the international cotton price per ton, while the chemical fiber production capacity there is a structural overcapacity problem, the textile market situation is not optimistic. Second, the situation of energy conservation and environmental protection in the industry is grim, and enterprises are facing great pressure. At the same time, the textile industry transfer speed has shown a slowing trend, in this regard, the industry in the new normal to speed up the elimination of backward production capacity, with new technologies to enhance the level of industry development, while strengthening technological innovation.
At the forum, 60 economic research results were awarded the "2014 China Textile Industry Federation Economic Research Achievement Award", of which 7 research results such as "Industrial Policy and textile Economy Research (2006~2010)" won the first prize, and 11 results such as "Xinjiang machine-picked cotton Development Strategy Research" won the second prize. "Clothing Intellectual Property Protection and Infringement Case Analysis" and other 13 achievements won the third prize, "Based on the new urbanization of textile industry development strategy Research" and other 29 achievements won.
In the exchange of winning papers, The first prize winners, Professor Hu Xinghui from Wuhan Textile University, Associate Professor Shao Jingfeng from Xi 'an Polytechnic University and Associate Professor Lu An from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, respectively, exchanged opinions on the three winning papers: "Research on the Collaborative Development of New Urbanization and Textile Industry Transformation", "Modeling and Extraction of innovation-driven Development Path of Textile Industry based on Co-evolution" and "Carbon Footprint of Garment Life Cycle" . The second prize winner, associate Professor Yin Yanbing of Tianjin University of Technology, shared with the participants his award-winning work "The Practice of Textile intangible cultural heritage Protection and Dialectical Thinking on Regional Economic Development".
